The difference between ultrasonic vibrating screen and airflow screen

Ultrasonic vibrating screen and airflow vibrating screen can both classify fine powder materials, but how do users choose?

With high-frequency and low-amplitude ultrasonic vibration waves, the ultrasonic vibrating sieve can give super ultrasonic acceleration to the ultra-fine powder on the screen , so that the materials on the screen surface are always kept in a suspended state, thereby inhibiting the blocking factors such as adhesion, friction, flat drop, wedging, etc., and resolving difficulty sieving problems, including strong adhesion, easy agglomeration, high static electricity, super finess, high density, light gravity, etc. It’s especially suitable for high-quality and fine powder.

The air flow screen mainly conveys the material through a spiral conveying system. The material will be atomized and mixed with the air flow when entering into the mesh cylinder. Through the wind wheel blades in the mesh cylinder, the material is subjected to centrifugal force and cyclone propulsion at the same time, so that the material can be sprayed through the mesh, and be discharged from the discharge pipe for fine materials. The materials that cannot pass through the net are discharged from the discharge port for coarse materials along the wall of the net cylinder.
airflow sieve
To sum up, the ultrasonic vibrating screen is mainly suitable for fine powder materials with easy agglomeration, high static electricity and strong adsorption; the airflow screen is also designed for fine powders, but it does not have the ultrasonic vibrating unit. Users should choose the vibrating screen equipment according to the characteristics of the material and avoid unnecessary losses.
